Nottinghamshire county council has given notice that there is to be an election on 1st May 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT
1. An Election is to be held for Councillors to the above electoral divisions of Nottinghamshire County Council.
2. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Deputy Returning Officer at, Rushcliffe Arena, Rugby Road,
West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7YG between 9am and 4pm on any working day from the date of
publication of this notice (excluding bank holidays), but no later than 4pm on Wednesday 2 April.
3. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Deputy Returning Officer, Rushcliffe Arena,
Rugby Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7YG during the times stated above.
4. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 1 May 2025 between the hours of 7am and
10pm.
5. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Friday 12
April. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
6. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at
Rushcliffe Arena, Rugby Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7YG by 5pm on Monday 14 April.

7. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election

8. Applications to vote by proxy at this election must be reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Rushcliffe

9. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at
