Information from Rushcliffe Borough Council
Bin deliveries will begin on September 1 to households and will take approximately nine weeks to deliver across the Borough.
This will be supported with regular communication updates so residents know when to expect their new glass recycling bin. The new kerbside collection service will start on December 1 and its important that residents continue to use the existing glass bring site network.
As part of the project plan for the new service, a review of current glass recycling bring sites is being undertaken, as it is anticipated most residents will take advantage of the new kerbside collection service.
Whilst some sites will remain, it has been identified that many will no longer be needed or used. This has been supported by the few residents who have chosen to opt out of the new service, mainly due to not using glass or space for a new bin
