Anatomy of a Fall – A tantalising screenplay keeps the audience guessing in this gripping French drama in which superb lead actor Sandra Hüller plays a woman suspected of her husband’s murder. The only reliable witness, their son, happens to be blind. The film does not signpost the traditional twists and turns and dramatic reversals, but keeps a cool distance, letting us wonder if Sandra is guilty or not, and we are kept guessing until the end.
